This region's unique soil composition (cobblestone and depleted soils) challenges and yet nurtures the vine to yield grapes of depth, character and concentrated flavors. With a long growing season, warm days and cool winds from the Monterey Bay, grapes of this appellation develop great complexity. With aromas of white truffle and honeysuckle, this Riesling brims with green apple, Asian pear, guava and pineapple and is completed with a tongue on stone mineral finish.
