This wine came from vines growing on Hendrick's Vineyard's Rockin' H Ranch, located where the Petaluma River gently bends toward the San Pablo Bay and the Pacific Ocean. This location, with cool foggy marine-influenced nights and long summer days, is exceptionally suited to growing Pinot Noir with fruit and spice flavors, acidity and texture in perfect balance and harmony. The brilliant garnet jewel color of this Pinot offers a visual statement of the depths of its flavors.
